Terms of Service
Version 1.0.0
1. What MileBid is
MileBid is a neutral technology marketplace operated by Express Services Group, Corp (dba MileBid). It provides software that connects shippers with independent transportation service providers. MileBid is not a motor carrier, broker, or freight forwarder, does not arrange transportation, and is not a party to the transportation contract between users. See our Marketplace Disclosure for details.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Service providers must hold and maintain their own operating authority, insurance, and equipment.
3. Listings, quotes & acceptance
Shippers post listings; service providers set and post their own quotes. MileBid never sets, suggests, or negotiates prices, and never auto-matches users — the shipper explicitly selects the quote it accepts. The resulting transportation agreement is solely between the shipper and the service provider.
4. Fees
MileBid charges a technology fee for access to the platform (a fee for software, not a commission on transportation). The current fee is shown at the time you accept a quote. Payments are processed by Stripe and held until both parties confirm delivery, after which the provider payout is released.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, circumvent fees, post unlawful or prohibited shipments, or attempt to transact off-platform to avoid fees. MileBid may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is.” MileBid does not guarantee delivery, condition, performance, or any outcome of a transaction between users, and does not endorse any provider. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MileBid’s liability is limited to the technology fees you paid for the transaction at issue.
7. Disputes
Payment disputes between a shipper and provider may be submitted to MileBid for resolution of the held funds. Disputes regarding these terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by a new version number and may require re-acceptance.
